About The Quote Maven
The original Quote Maven website was developed as a
class project for the Webmaster
Certificate Program at Illinois Institute of Technology, during the
spring of 1999.
I began this collection of quotations in 1995 after attending a Tony Robbins
seminar Unleash The Power Within. When I came back from my firewalk, I
began to email my coworkers motivational quotations every Monday morning.
The idea was to begin each week on a positive note, with some inspirational
food for thought. This web site is my attempt to organize the collection.
The daily quotes appearing on the main page of The Quote Maven and at the top of the other pages are powered by Movable Type.
