This actually started out as an illo for imagine, then sea, but I never quite finished it. The photos were taken in Michigan a few years ago on an October trip.

Salad Mandala

For most of my life I did not care for broccoli, either cooked or raw. My DH of two years introduced me to fresh broccoli and spinach in salads.
We like to make our salads with spinach, leafy green lettuce, carrots, tomatoes, broccoli, mushrooms, cucumbers, and almond slivers. DH and DS also add black olives. DS does not like any kind of salad dressing. The only thing he adds are bacon bits. Try your salad undressed sometime and you will discover some wonderful flavors!
