His 'n' Her Remotes

I created this for Illustration Friday--the two remotes on my key chain, one for my car, the other for my DH.
I started this in Corel IX first sketching it on my Wacom. I added digital water color in Corel IX. I moved it into Photoshop and added the green outline with a Wacom brush and saved it as a .jpg.
I've unwittingly managed to complete Week #37, keys, for Every Day Matters' Yahoo Group, as well!

Lost . . . in our new kitchen

We moved into our new home two weeks ago, and I'm still lost, trying to remember where we put everything in the kitchen. Maybe a diagram would help?

Whew! Just in under the wire. We moved into a new home last week. This is a countour drawing of a sugar maple leaf that "floated" to the ground in our new back yard. I did this on the train yesterday morning--it's not always easy to draw or write on an express train.
Our new home has a wonderful garden. I know zilch about gardening. What a wonderful challenge I have ahead of me to learn about gardening this upcoming year!
