The Handwriting on The Wall

This is a Photoshop manipulation. The quote that I had in mind was "How old would you be if you didn't know how old you were?" attributed to Satchel Paige.
Speaking of aging, Jenett is the originator of the ageless project.
I knew I wanted some kind of urban wall as the backdrop. I knew that Jenett has quite a few interesting urban photographs in his collection. This one caught my fancy. (used with permission, of course).
I was fascinated with the blue face in the mural and decided to duplicate it a few times. Here are some experiments:

I like this a lot and I like the one you posted at the top of the page the best, the quote goes so well. Satchel Paige was amazing wasn't he? You did a great job on the digital manipulation in PS, that can be a tricky thing, to make the piece more interesting, not just more manipulated and you did an absolutely great job of it. Really nice! I like it. Best Regards, Jacque

I'm envious... your PS creation looks like "real" art... mine looks like a cartoon... and I'm not talking Rembrandt or Rodin, either!! Cant wait to see what next weeks topic is.

That's a great image. As for the question, I guess I'd be perpetually seventeen. :)
Peace

Nice concept and I like your choice of setting for the words!
Age is a number (for utilitarian reasons), but it also means something independent of the number... and it's not all negative either! Because I feel this way I thought I wouldn't approve of the "ageless" project, but I really do - it's a wonderful statement of how the living contemporary world is with all of us, not just the young. I must be getting old...
