Daring

This illustration got me thinking about daring things a few weeks ago.

When I was a kid, I used to like to parachute from swings--actually pretty daring of me since I was afraid of most of the other items in a playground.

As an adult, the most daring thing I ever did was to complete a firewalk at a Tony Robbins seminar about ten years ago.

To create this illustration, I took a photo of my feet, and then drew an outline in Painter. I sampled some burning charcoal and made a pattern for a pattern pen to create the background.
